It is with regret that I must tell you that The Strugglers - Alfriston
have informed the Committee that they can no longer field a team with
any degree of regularity, and so have withdrawn from Div3. They have
already had problems and don't want to cause any other teams any
difficulties. While we are sorry to lose them, we applaud their bravery
and realism, and look forward to seeing them if they can arrange
friendlies, or if they can get more reliable players for next year.
This
means that their results against the Volunteer, Fish C and Royal Toads
in the League are deleted, affecting those teams' totals. The
Volunteer also played them in the Cup round1, and will be invited to
play the winners of next week's replay between the HornyL and the
BlackEle in their place.
